Library cards are free to residents of California. You need to bring a photo ID with your name and current address. If you do not have an updated driver's licenses or ID card, then bring another form of ID: Passport, school ID card, other government issued photo ID, employee ID card AND one of the following the shows your current California address: printed personal check, credit card statement, or business mail with a current postmark.
